American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Central Florida
AIAA is dedicated to reaching out to the local community and fostering a fascination in the vast world of STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics), develop an interest in the industry, and to create a safe, clean, comfortable community in which children of all ages can learn, study, and associate with one another.
AIAA Outreach accomplishes this through interactive, STEM related experiences that link fun and excitement with aviation and engineering. For instance, Camp Connect with Girl Scouts or rocket launches with the YMCA. We also partner with renown Aerospace Organizations, such as Lockheed Martin, NASA, Experimental Aircraft Association, and the Sun ‘n Fun Organization to give back to our community through beautification projects, rallies, classes and workshops, or volunteering with children.
At AIAA, we celebrate ingenuity and achievements; from the small but brilliantly simple, to the complex missions that alter the course of human existence. We lay the groundwork for future advances by creating an atmosphere that inspires innovation. And we help the world to understand the need for it.
Our purpose and our goal is to fuel imaginations. To support ambitions. And to inspire the rest of the world to do what has always come naturally to us.
To Dream.
