Rocket Project
                                      Fall 2016
The goal of the AIAA rocket project is to teach members the basics of rocketry and more general engineering software like Solidworks. Participants will work in groups to design and build model rockets that meet specific performance goals by customizing different aspects of their rockets. To determine if they have reached these goals before launch day, they must do analysis with formulas derived from Newtonian physics and also use CAD and flow simulation software. On launch day, whichever team comes closest to the set goals will be victorious.
